Craighead Electric changes look of bills

Craighead Electric is using a new bill format.  The new bill will be easier to read and has many new features.

One new feature is a thirteen month graph comparing current usage with the previous twelve months usage.

All account information is located on the left side below the usage history. It contains the meter number, the rate schedule, billing cycle,  previous and present meter readings and dates, number of days on the billing, and the number of kwh used currently as well as a year ago with corresponding charges. At the top right of the bill in the black box is the account number and map location number. Below this information is the date the bill was mailed.

Continuing down the page is the account summary.  This shows any previous balances due and current charges with totals and due dates. 

Just above the tear off payment stub is a message box.  This box will be used to inform our members about upcoming events, energy efficient tips, announcements, and programs available through Craighead Electric. 

The payment stub is the bottom tear away portion of the bill that should be returned with your payment. This will help the CSRs apply the correct amounts to the proper accounts. The payment stub lists the bill amounts both before and after the due date.  The stub also contains the mailing address that will show through the window of the return envelope, which can be used to return your payment.

On the back of the bill is more information about other payment options, as well as contact information for Craighead Electric offices.

At the bottom of the back page (the portion you return with your payment) is an area that can be used to update or change your address and phone numbers. 

Members with multiple accounts will receive one envelope containing all their bills.
